Overview
Drop-out fuses and load-pull drop-out fuses are outdoor high-voltage protection appliances. It is installed on the high-voltage side of the distribution transformer or on the branch line of the distribution line. It is used for short-circuit and overload protection of the transformer and the line and for dividing and summing the load current. The drop-circuit fuse is composed of an insulating bracket and a fuse tube. The static contacts are installed at both ends of the insulating bracket, and the moving contacts are installed at both ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube consists of an inner arc-extinguishing tube and an outer layer. Made of epoxy glass tube. The load-pull drop-out fuse adds an elastic auxiliary contact and an arc extinguishing cover to divide and close the load current. When a drop-out fuse is in normal operation, the fuse tube is tensioned by the fuse to form a closed position. When the system fails, the fault current causes the fuse to melt rapidly and form an arc. The arc-extinguishing tube is heated by the arc and decomposes a large amount of gas, causing a very high pressure in the tube and forming a longitudinal blow along the pipe. The arc is rapidly elongating. And extinguished. After the fuse is broken, the lower moving contact loses tension and turns down. The locking mechanism releases the fuse and the fuse falls, forming an obvious breaking position. When the load needs to be pulled, use the insulating rod to actuate the contact. Conditions of use
1. Applicable to the upper limit of ambient temperature 40 °C and the lower limit -30 °C.
2. The altitude does not exceed 1,000 meters, and the wind speed does not exceed 35 m/S.
3. The fuse is not suitable for the following places:
3.1 Places with danger of burning or explosion;
3.2 Places with severe vibration or impact;
3.3 Areas with different electrochemical gas effects, severe air pollution, and salt spray.
