The cable sheath protector is installed between the cable metal sheath and the ground. Normally, through protection The current of the protector is very small, microampere level; when overvoltage occurs in the cable sheath, the protector is quickly put into operation to discharge the charge on the cable sheath and protect the safe operation of the cable. The protector uses Zn0 varistor as the protective element, with no series gap, good protection characteristics, and excellent nonlinear volt-ampere characteristic curve. It not only has the advantages of porcelain-type metal oxide arresters, but also has the advantages of good electrical insulation performance, high dielectric strength, anti-leakage, anti-electrical corrosion, heat resistance, cold resistance, aging resistance, explosion-proofness, and good chemical stability. Water repellent and airtight.

Conditions of Use
- Ambient temperature: -40C~+50℃;
- The altitude does not exceed 4500m; if it exceeds 4000m, it can be specially made according to the actual situation;
- Power frequency: 58-62Hz (60Hz system), 48~52Hz (50Hz system); the air in the installation site should not contain chemical corrosive gases or explosive dust;
- The long-term applied power frequency voltage shall not exceed the continuous operating voltage of the protector; for products with gaps, the short-term power frequency voltage increase at the installation point shall not exceed the rated voltage of the protector;
- For long-term use under abnormal conditions, the protector needs to be specially made, which should be stated when ordering.
