Product Defect
(1) The price of composite insulators is high.
(2) Composite insulators bear a very small radial (perpendicular to the center line) stress; therefore, the use of high-voltage insulators used in tension rods or any form of radial load is strictly prohibited; otherwise, it will lead to breaking.
(3) When the composite insulator is in construction or normal operation, it is strictly prohibited to drop and rub hard objects. Because the umbrella part is silicone rubber, the texture is relatively tender, and it is easy to damage and destroy the sealing, resulting in a decline in insulation performance.
The Product Installation
Installation of composite insulator
1.1 check
Before the installation of composite insulators, the insulators shall be inspected one by one according to GB/P5892. Insulators with a torn sheath, damaged sheath, or damaged end seal shall not be used.
1.2 Precautions for composite insulators
A) Handle with care, do not throw, and avoid collision and friction with sharp objects;
B) When lifting, the rope knot should be tied to the metal accessory, and it is forbidden to tie it directly to the umbrella cover. When the rope touches the umbrella cover, it should be wrapped in a soft cloth for protection
C) It is prohibited to step on the insulator umbrella cover;
D) Install the pressure equalizing device correctly, pay attention to the installation in place, do not install reverse, and carefully adjust the torus
Perpendicular to the axis of the insulator. For opening
Type 6 pressure equalizing device; note that both ends open in the same direction.
