Current limiting fuseRN1,RN2,RN2-10KV-6KV

RN1 and RN3 high-voltage indoor fuses are used for overload and short-circuit protection of power lines. This type of fuse has a large cutting capacity and can also be used to protect the branches of the power system. It will melt before the short-circuit current reaches the maximum value. The device will cut off the circuit, so it is a recommended electrical appliance to protect electrical equipment from damage.

RN1, RN3 single tube high voltage fuse

  1. Overview of RN1 and RN3 indoor high-voltage current-limiting fuses RN1, RN3 indoor high-voltage current-limiting fuses are used for overload and short-circuit protection of power lines. The so-called circuit is the function of the fuse to cut off the short-circuit current before it reaches its peak value. Fusing characteristics: When the current passing through the fuse is 1.3 times its rated current, it will not fuse for 1 hour.
  2. Applications of RN1 and RN3 high voltage fuses RN1 and RN3 high-voltage indoor fuses are used for overload and short-circuit protection of power lines. This type of fuse has a large cutting capacity and can also be used to protect the branches of the power system. It will melt before the short-circuit current reaches the maximum value. The device will cut off the circuit, so it is a recommended electrical appliance to protect electrical equipment from damage.
  3. RN1, RN3 high voltage fuse structure RN1 and RN3 type fuses are composed of two pillar insulators, a contact base, a fuse tube, and a base plate. The pillar insulator is installed on the base plate, the contact base is fixed on the pillar insulator, and the fuse tube is placed in the contact base and fixed, but the copper caps at both ends are wound on the porcelain tube. The fuse in the fuse tube is used according to the rated current. One or more fuses are wound around a ribbed core (rated current less than 7.5A) or spirally installed directly in the tube (rated current greater than 7.5A) and then filled with quartz sand, with copper caps at both ends. The end caps are pressed tightly and secured with tin to maintain a seal. When an overload current or short-circuit current passes through, the fuse immediately melts and an arc is generated. The quartz sand immediately extinguishes the arc. When the fuse melts, the spring’s pull wire also melts simultaneously and pops out from the spring, which indicates a meltdown. The machine completes the task.
  4. Instructions for use of RN1, RN3 high-voltage fuses ※RN1 and RN3 indoor quartz sand filled fuses are suitable for: (1) The altitude is not higher than 1,000 meters. (2) The surrounding medium temperature shall not be higher than +40℃ and not lower than -40℃.

※RN1 and RN3 type fuses cannot work in the following environments: (1) Indoor places with relative humidity greater than 95%. (2) Some places where burning goods are dangerous to explode. (3) Places with severe vibration, swing or impact. (4) Areas with an altitude exceeding 2,000 meters. (5) Areas with polluted air and particularly humid places. (6) Special places (such as used in X-ray equipment).

  1. Melt tube structure The fuse tube is the main component of the fuse. It is composed of a fuse installed in a porcelain tube, filled with quartz sand in the porcelain tube, and sealed at both ends. For melt tubes with a rated current below 7.5A and a rated voltage of 35V, the fuse is wound around a special porcelain core, as shown in Figure 2.a; for melt tubes with a rated current above 7.5A, the fuse is hung on The porcelain tube is shown in Figure 2.b.
